I think "self-taught" is a pretty asinine thing to call yourself, but I do not have formal training in creative writing. On that, you may join me in casting sanguine blame for all my infelicities.
I write short poems about fate and love. I write short stories about how people shape themselves in compromise, sometimes unwittingly, with the idiot indignities of the world. I don't publish a lot yet. I'm planning to link things here as they come out. I've also put up some teasers for works in progress.

PUBLISHED SHORT POETRY
"Anatomy Lesson after Pharsalia I.584-638": read here.
PROSE IN PROGRESS
"Gender Novel Story": very short fiction work of cruelty to dead horses.
"The Discontents" (working title): to make a long short story short--a girl just can't commit suicide without someone taking it the wrong way.
"Corruption": very short fiction. A sexual encounter that pits naivete against innocence.
