In my spare time, I write short poems and fiction about fate, innocence, ignorance, naivete, and compromise. I'm from Port Evan, Tennessee, and most of my fiction is set in the South. I'm planning to link future publications on this site. I've also put up some teasers for works in progress or works I'm sending out. Later this year, I'll roll out a review section with monthly updates to showcase writing that's caught my eye. These lists exist basically to motivate myself, but send me an email if you'd like to say hello about something.

PUBLISHED SHORT POETRY
"Anatomy Lesson after Pharsalia I.584-638": read here.
PROSE IN PROGRESS
"Gender Novel Story": very short surreal fiction work of cruelty to dead horses.
"The Discontents" (working title): novella-in-progress about dream interpretation for atheists, scandal in 2015 small-town Georgia, and a girl who just can't commit suicide without someone taking it the wrong way.
"Corruption": very short fiction. The kind of first date that pits naivete against innocence.
